Here at Crafty Housewife Yarns we want to keep the old ways of learning and crafting alive.  Our brand obviously has a focus on fun and learning. We'd like to help you approach spinning and the fiber arts the same way you would approach a recipe or learn to cook.  I think most of us can agree that the best cooks sometimes are the ones that move by taste and feel.  These are the cooks that learned standing next to a parent or friend.  

In this comprehensive course I will take you with me step by step form the first time you lay eyes on a spinning wheel and fiber, to basic knitting  and crochet techniques for your different types of handspun you have created.  

This course is meant to be fun and at your own pace. While technical aspects will definitely be covered, this course is meant to have the "home cook" feel.  If you follow along you will be able to make your own opinions and choices about fiber and technique.  This will give you the freedom to not listen to others and create what you want and spin by feel.
