Meridian Mill - Small Batch Charlotte Top Roving - Merino and Silk Blend
Heidi and I were so excited to get to meet the good folks at Meridian Mill at a Fiber festival we were both working at. We both fell in love with their roving wool and yarns and decided we needed to carry it in shop.
This Top is a blend of 80% SW Merino/20% Mulberry Silk fiber.
Blended well (3 times) in our prep line, the fiber is easy to draft and spin, but still shows enough of the silk to see a beautiful contrast when dyed.
